Contractor management system implementation for construction and other projects, including contractor auditing for compliance and continuous improvement; value adding along the contractual chain.

Project managed Gorgon Upstream HSEQRA management system sharepoint site from concept to rollout in 9 months concurrent with other duties.

Delivered HSE management systems for Gorgon contractors on time and to required budget, concurrently with delivery of the Chevron culture model.

Achieved international recognition with the publication of ‘Productive Safety Management’, Elsevier Science, Oxford.

Adept at working in multi-cultural and non-English speaking teams and achieving the required management systems implementation and operational ownership.

Developed and implemented the Gorgon Upstream Quarantine Management System and achieved zero major non-conformances during tenure.
Achieved recognition as a National Committee Member for the Australian Interstate Certification Assurance Program from 2000 to 2008 whilst working for Quarantine WA.
Rose through the ranks at Quarantine WA to become WA Technical Services Manager.

Developed and updated Crisis and Emergency Management systems to support numerous oil and gas and mining operations both within Australia and abroad.

Project managed the recovery and delivery of several “off the rails” projects for BHP Billiton and Inpex IT systems integration projects to meet the client’s revised scope, budget and schedule expectations.

Delivered the GE Pressure Controls new workshop facility in Australia, including the development of operational planning and leadership capabilities and the alignment and accreditation of processes and outputs to ISO9001 and API Q1.

Training package developer and instructor on numerous Australia Defence Force (ADF) operational planning courses including officer cadets and for special operations capabilities.

Project managed the construction, development, fit-out and accreditation of a new ADF Task Group Headquarters in Afghanistan.

Functional member of planning and operations teams for security and stability operations in East Timor, Iraq, Afghanistan and in support of Australian Counter Terrorism capabilities as part of whole of government initiatives.
